ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Tent City Taphouse is facing at least $1,000 worth of damage following a break-in and vandalism over the weekend.
According to the restaurant, a person broke open the establishment’s doors Saturday morning, drank champagne, stole merchandise and then threw a bottle of Tabasco sauce at the restaurant’s exterior window while leaving the building.
“It’s a little scary, you know,” JC Snead, co-owner of Tent City Taphouse, said. “And then just to come see a broken window, again, it’s just a window so it could be replaced. But we’re a small, family-owned and operated business and just trying to get through winter.”…
