ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Under a white blanket on the ice of Big Lake, the sounds of engines and throttles is back for another year.
The 42nd edition of the Iron Dog Snow Machine Race is now underway as 30 teams have hit the trail. All of which were waved a warm goodbye by fans, race staff, and a good dump of snow early Saturday morning.
