Cold storage campus breaks ground at Anchorage airport

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Construction is underway on Phase One of a large-scale cold chain cargo campus at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, a project developers say will address a long-standing gap in the airport’s cargo infrastructure and strengthen Anchorage’s role in global logistics.

Alaska Cargo & Cold Storage, known as ACCS, has begun apron construction on a climate-controlled cargo and storage facility on a 29-acre site at the airport.
