14-year-old takes Jr. Iditarod title in first year of eligibility

WASILLA, Alaska (KTUU) – The Robinson name continues to dominate the Jr. Iditarod.

In the first year after four-time defending champion Emily Robinson aged out of the race, her younger brother Stanley aged in – and picked up right where his sister left off by taking the win on his very first attempt.

The 14-year-old Nenana musher already had a few results under his belt, including back-to-back top five finishes at the Willow Jr. 100 and a third place at the 2024 Knik 100.

Robinson finished the 153-mile course around 9:40 a.m. Sunday, with a total time of 23 hours, 40 minutes…
