There’s a repeat champion in the Iditarod. Jessie Holmes, the reigning champion, has won the 54th Iditarod, going back-to-back in dominant fashion.
Holmes led the race nearly the entire way, reaching every checkpoint first, including White Mountain, where he took his final mandatory eight-hour rest before the last leg to Nome.
