Second man connected to Russian Jack shootings in hospital

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A second man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound on the same night as another shooting in a Russian Jack neighborhood that left the first man in the hospital.

The first shooting was reported March 13 around the 5000 block of East Sixth Avenue, according to the Anchorage Police Department.

The initial shooting report said officers responded around 9 p.m. to the area. When they got there, officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body, who was taken to a local hospital for treatment…
