New art with a connection to the past goes up in Downtown Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – New art is appearing along G Street between 4th and 5th Avenues as construction continues at the site of the old 4th Avenue Theater.

The first wave of murals was unveiled Thursday as part of the Block 41 Construction Beautification Project, a temporary art installation on the construction fence along the 4th Avenue and G Street sides.
