Live music is coming back to one of Anchorage’s most iconic sports bars. The Peanut Farm on Old Seward Highway is bringing back local performances every Thursday night, giving musicians a chance to showcase their talent.
It’s been about 10 years since the bar featured live music, but the team says this weekly series is a way to reconnect with the community that’s supported them for six decades.
“We’ve been around for about 60 years, and are known as Alaska’s sports bar, but we’re definitely trying to get back to our roots and bring back some love to the community,” said Casey McCutcheon with The Peanut Farm…
