The Saving America’s Graveyards tour will stop in Milan on June 24. The free cemetery workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rice Cemetery, at Mead Road and Dennison Road, according to a community announcement.
Workshop part of national tour
The national tour began in 2020 and has offered more than 200 free programs as part of a 48-state tour, according to the announcement.
The Milan event is open to the public. Last year, Rice Cemetery dedicated a state historical marker for a Medal of Honor recipient.
