Free youth rodeo to celebrate Washtenaw County’s 200th birthday on Friday

LODI TWP., MI — Ann Arbor area residents can experience bull riding, line dancing and agricultural heritage at a free community event celebrating Washtenaw County’s 200th anniversary.

The Washtenaw County Youth Rodeo will take place 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds at 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Road in Lodi Township, just south of Ann Arbor.

Next Generation Bull Riding will bring amateur and professional bull riders to the arena. Saline native and professional bull rider Matt Allgood is set to participate. The rodeo will also feature American Freestyle Bull Fighting performances, where fighters face off with bulls without harming the animals…
