11 road closures planned this week in Michigan

Construction crews will be busy again this week before traffic increases for the upcoming holiday weekend.

More than 75 road projects and special events will begin between Sunday, June 28, and Saturday, July 4, resulting in various levels of closures on the state’s primary roads, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. Those are in addition to dozens of ongoing projects.

This week, drivers should be aware of closures on I-94 in Wayne and Berrien counties, I-96 in Clinton County, U.S. 131 in Kent and Allegan counties, M-59 in Livingston County, and M-123 in Luce County…
