The cyclosporiasis outbreak in Michigan is now nearing 1,000 cases as of the latest MDHHS update.
MDHHS updates the case count everyday, and once again the number of cases has jumped from just over 700 cases Tuesday, July 7, to 992 cases Wednesday, July 8. Case counts reflect all cases of cyclosporiasis reported during the outbreak investigation period and may change as additional information becomes available.
Each week, MDHHS updates the total reported cases for each county. The data is as of 4:30 p.m. July 6, so it will not match up with the current case count. Here is a map of the latest county case counts.
