The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will conduct the following construction activities on I-75 this weekend. These operations supplement ongoing projects at additional locations.
Multiple crews may be deployed at these sites. Weather conditions can affect all scheduled work and may lead to delays or cancellations.
I-75 Construction Activities
- Oakland County: The southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-696 will be closed from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. through Sunday at 5:00 p.m. for bridge work.
- Oakland County: Ramps connecting I-75 to southbound M-24 and both northbound and southbound M-24 at the I-75/M-24 Connector will be subject to 15-minute stoppages on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Wayne County: Northbound I-75 from Schaefer Highway to I-96, including all associated on- and off-ramps, will be closed from Friday at 9:00 p.m. through Monday at 5:00 a.m. for an epoxy overlay.
- Detour route: Northbound I-75 to northbound I-275 to eastbound I-94 to eastbound I-96.
- Wayne County: Southbound I-75 from Piquette to I-94 will operate with one lane open from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for bridge inspection.
