ADRIAN — A local crafting group has donated 101 handmade port pillows to ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The pillows were created through Knit + Crochet with Purpose’s Gather to Give Series, a program launched by Musgrove + Company owner Lora Kasik and Sara Hilton of Strawberry Blue Farm. Port pillows attach to a seatbelt to protect chemotherapy ports from pressure and friction during travel.
