ANN ARBOR, MI – A local school for students with learning differences and disabilities is suing a neighboring property owner, alleging its push to dissolve a lease agreement is stymieing the school’s hope to expand and work with more students in need.
But what the Ann Arbor Academy calls a breach of contract the site owner, AMR Property Management, LLC, claims to be an amicable attempt to end the arrangement after renovations needed for the school to occupy the space safely couldn’t be completed.
“We have 85 students enrolled for the fall at this time. We are projecting that we will add five more this month, which would have us starting with 90 in September.
