Oklahoma Sooners get a mixed bag of news regarding their injury report heading into Week 2 vs. the Michigan Wolverines

The Oklahoma Sooners are dealing with injuries all over the offensive line, and it’s not coming at a good time. Then again, is it ever a good time?

The Oklahoma Sooners are set to play the Michigan Wolverines this Saturday. They are going to have an extra day of rest/preparation after beating UTEP on Friday. So, they should have an advantage. And they need it, because they have some injuries to some important players.

Sooners have injuries to three offensive linemen entering Week 2

The Sooners could enter Week 2 without starting center Jake Maikkula, starting left tackle Michael Fasusi, and starting guard Ryan Fodje.

“We’ll get them going this week,” Venables said on his coaches show regarding Maikkula and Fodje.Now, that doesn’t mean they will both be available to play every snap on Saturday against the Wolverines. In fact, that doesn’t mean they will be able to play at all. I’m reading this as those guys are going to start getting going in practice. That doesn’t always mean they are ready for the games.
