YORK TWP., MI — Toyota has opened its new $50 million battery research and testing lab near Saline, where the automaker will evaluate and develop batteries for its electric and hybrid vehicles.
The new 30,000-square-foot facility opened Oct. 1 at the existing Toyota Motor North American R&D Headquarters at 8777 S. Platt Road in York Township.
