ANN ARBOR, MI — A dog died after falling through ice in the Huron River at Gallup Park late Friday morning. Rescue crews responded to the river at 11:45 a.m., according to the Ann Arbor Fire Department. Firefighters recovered the dog and attempted to resuscitate the dog, which was later transported to the local veterinary hospital.
