Star Michigan Quarterback Chimes In On New Head Coaching Hire

J.J. McCarthy the Michigan Wolverines quarterback recently announced he is declaring for the NFL Draft, but still chimed in on the Wolverines’ new head coaching hire. With Jim Harbaugh headed to the Los Angeles Chargers, Michigan announced offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore would succeed Harbaugh as head coach.

McCarthy had this to say about Moore receiving the head coaching position.

“Love you family! Not a better man for the job. Lead them boys!” said McCarthy on social media site X.

Many expected Moore to become the new head coach after he served as interim head coach following Harbaugh’s suspension earlier this season. Moore went 5-0 while Harbaugh sat out this year and the Wolverines are confident in his ability to lead Michigan for years to come.
