Michigan Legend Speaks Highly On New Wolverines’ Head Coach

Following Jim Harbaugh’s departure from Michigan for the Los Angeles Chargers head coaching job, the Wolverines hired Sherrone Moore the former offensive coordinator to succeed Harbaugh. Many Michigan and college football fans believed Moore was the man for the job, as did Michigan great and current Wolverines basketball head coach Juwan Howard.

Moore was at Michigan’s most recent game against the Iowa Hawkeyes and following the game, Juwan Howard spoke on Moore’s recent promotion.

“But on a serious note, I am so happy for Sherrone and I’m going to be his biggest supporter like I was before when he was the offensive line coach. Then he got the promotion promotion as being our offensive coordinator,” Howard said.

“I’ll never forget when I was in the hospital and I had my surgery, he was the coach of the Bowling Green game. And after the game, he gave the game ball to me. And I have that game ball, which is in my office. I thought that was super classy and professional on his part. The relationship that we have before promotion, and now what he is and what his program is going to look like — they’re gonna be special and he’s going to have me and my family supporting him like no other,” said Howard.
