ANN ARBOR, MI – A 41-year-old Ann Arbor man charged with armed robbery and assault will undergo a competency examination, a circuit court judge ruled this week. Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Arianne Slay ordered Wayne Rafel Crawford, 41, to undergo psychiatric exam during a hearing Thursday, Feb. 1. The results of the examination will show whether Crawford can follow court proceedings and if he can be held criminally responsible for his alleged actions.
