Tragedy struck Aspen, Colorado this past weekend as Eileen Sheahan, a 22-year-old University of Michigan student, fatally collided with a tree while skiing. The devastating accident occurred at the Aspen Highlands resort on Saturday, with The Aspen Times reporting that she was pronounced deceased on the scene by 12:02 p.m. after ski patrol’s efforts to resuscitate her proved futile.
