IRISH HILLS, MI – Harold’s Place has been known for its homemade breakfasts and meals since it opened in 1978. Owner Harold Lyons had a cabin on Wolf Lake, when a small diner at 10625 Onsted Highway near Brooklyn in the Irish Hills went up for sale. After passing the empty building for years, he decided to purchase it and open a place of his own.
