ANN ARBOR, MI – There’s been a lot of talk in Ann Arbor lately about the Kline Lot, or Kline’s lot as some call it. Named after the former Kline’s Department Store on Main Street, the nearly block-long public parking lot along Ashley Street – behind the old Kline’s building – was dubbed the Kline Lot in city planning documents many years ago. There have been decades of talks about development possibilities for the city-owned site.
