Convenience-store chain Sheetz is growing its presence in Michigan. The Altoona, Pennsylvania-based retailer first announced in November 2022 that it had plans to open its first Michigan store near Detroit. That location, at 33380 Wick Road, Romulus, Michigan, is slated to open in the latter half of 2024, Sheetz said.
