Ohio State Freshman Air Noland is Already Looking Ahead to Michigan Rivalry Game

Ohio State-Michigan is one of the greatest rivalries in sports.

The countdown to The Game starts ticking right after the final whistle blows. And Ohio State early enrollee Air Noland is already counting down those days.

On Thursday morning, the four-star quarterback recruit posted an image of Ohio State and Michigan helmets with the caption “296 Days!!”

There are 296 days until the Buckeyes welcome the Wolverines for the next installment of The Game on November 30.

Noland will have some serious competition in Columbus this offseason. The program brought in Kansas State transfer quarterback Will Howard, and flipped five-star QB recruit Julian Sayin from Alabama. Howard is expected to start the season as Ohio State’s QB1.

Noland is the No. 7 quarterback recruit in the 2024 class, per 247Sports’ rankings. While he may not be an immediate starter for the Buckeyes, the Georgia native clearly has some serious potential as a top-tier collegiate QB.

Michigan has claimed victory in three straight rivalry matchups, but Noland and Ohio State will look to end that streak in 2024.
