ANN ARBOR, MI – Ann Arbor’s vehicle bridge across the Huron River in Gallup Park is going to be demolished much sooner than expected due to structural issues. After deciding in recent days to close the wooden bridge to all traffic, city officials announced Friday, Feb. 9, the city is now preparing to demolish it beginning Monday, Feb. 12.
