SALEM Twp., Ohio (WKBN) – There is an investigation into a deadly crash in Salem Twp.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Salem Grange Road and Conkle Road in Salem Twp.
Police said Chloe Chappell, 22, was killed when she drove off the road, hit a culvert and a utility pole. Her car overturned.
Chappell was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed and alcohol appear to have contributed to the crash, police said. No other vehicles were involved.
The Winona Fire Department and Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
