YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP (WWJ) Deputies for the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a bad crash in Ypsilanti Township.
The crash left their patrol car on its side and smashed up, according to a photo released by the sheriff’s office.
In a statement on X, the sheriffs office said a vehicle collided with them Saturday evening at Prospect and Michigan Avenue while they were on their way to an an emergency call.
“We are thankful that no one was seriously injured,” they said in the statement.
It’s unclear if the deputies were taken to the hospital. No further details were released.
