Art installation celebrating diversity vandalized with pro-Palestine messages

ANN ARBOR, MI – An Ann Arbor nonprofit will be hosting a “painting party” to repair a public art display after it was spray painted with pro-Palestine messages. An outdoor art exhibit at Gallup Park, 3000 Fuller Road, in Ann Arbor, was vandalized sometime overnight between Sunday, Aug. 25 and Monday, Aug. 26, with phrases like “embrace revolution” and “free Palestine,” according to Chris Page, Ann Arbor police spokesperson. The vandalism was reported to police around 10:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26.
