Former federal employee pleads to stealing COVID relief funding

LANSING – A former Farmington Hills woman has pleaded guilty to stealing COVID-19 relief funding, the Michigan Attorney General’s Office said. Tiesha Johnson, 56, offered a no contest plea Aug. 28 in the 6th Circuit Court to three counts of False Pretenses, $1,000-$20,000 and agreed to pay $34,675 in restitution.
