WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — A freeway exit on northbound U.S. 23 was closed Thursday afternoon due to a crash. The Washtenaw Avenue exit, going from northbound U.S. 23 to westbound M-17 was closed shortly before 1 p.m., Aug. 29, due to a crash in Pittsfield Township, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
