NOVI, MI – The Michigan State Fair opened Sunday with new requirements to enter and an earlier closing time after a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed the night prior. State Fair officials say for the remainder of the fair, any attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to enter.
