Peyton Manning Addresses Rumor About Arch Manning’s Dad Before Texas-Michigan

There are just two games during the Week 2 college football slate that feature ranked opponents going at it, and one of them happens to be a top-10 matchup.

The No. 3 Texas Longhorns are traveling to Ann Arbor to take on the No. 10 Michigan Wolves in a game at the iconic stadium known as “The Big House.” While the two teams have only met once before in their history, there was an alleged prank pulled off as if they have been rivals for eons.

The prank was allegedly performed by the father of Texas quarterback Arch Manning, Cooper Manning.

According to a rumor floating around social media that has been discussed by 247Sports ‘ Chip Brown and Action Network’s Brett McMurphy, Cooper Manning “arranged” to have the Graduate Hotel in Ann Arbor fly Texas Longhorns flags. The hotel happens to be extremely close to both the stadium and campus, which means if the rumors are true, this is the ultimate troll job by Manning.

Everyone wants this to be true for the sake of college football antics. However, Cooper’s brother, Peyton Manning, revealed he wasn’t aware of the prank when he appeared on the Pat McAfee Show.
