Pat McAfee Delivers Bold Prediction for Texas-Michigan Showdown

ESPN ” College GameDay ” analyst Pat McAfee delivered his bold prediction while in Ann Arbor for what could be a slugfest battle between the No. 3 Texas Longhorns (1-0) and the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines (1-0). This is the first time these two teams will face off in the regular season.

Michigan enters the game as 6.5-point home underdogs, according to DraftKings Sportsbook . However, the Wolverines are the defending National Champions and have won their last 23 games at home, and have no intention of ending that streak on Saturday, and Pat McAfee doesn’t think so either.

“Every person I’ve met here literally has a Michigan ‘M’ tattooed on their body. Even [Michael] Phelps. With 111,000 fans in the stadium, I’m picking the Michigan Wolverines to upset Texas. This is my first time picking Michigan in two years,” McAfee said.

Michigan has a new quarterback, Davis Warren , who struggled in various aspects during the team’s Week 1 matchup. However, head coach Sherrone Moore continues to emphasize a hard-nosed, dominant style of play in the trenches. With the Wolverines’ strong defense and effective running game, they should not be counted out.
