MDex, a student-founded app that provides University of Michigan students with information about campus resources, hosted a five-day promotion from Sept. 2 to Sept. 4 and Sept. 6 to Sept. 7 featuring exclusive restaurant deals for app users. In collaboration with local restaurants, the promotion offered discounts on menu items for users who showed the app while placing an in-person order. Five restaurants were showcased in the promotion: Haymaker Public House on Monday, Ashley’s on Tuesday, New York Pizza Depot on Wednesday, Samba Bowls on Friday and Lan City Noodle Bar on Saturday.
