Curt Cignetti’s Indiana Hoosiers football team pushed its record to 10-0 on the season with a thrilling win over the defending National Champion Michigan Wolverines in Bloomington on Saturday, prompting Hoosiers fans nationwide to share their excitement.
The win marked the first time Indiana football has ever reached such a plateau in its long history and solicited comments from famous alumni including Isiah Thomas and Mark Cuban in celebration of the big win.
“Hoosiers!!! #IndianaFootball,” Thomas, who played at IU under the late, great basketball coach Bobby Knight, wrote on his X account.
The two-time NBA champion and former Detroit Pistons superstar also retweeted a post from the Hoosiers’ official Twitter page.
Former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, an IU alum himself and current 27% stake owner of the Mavs, also shared a similar message on Twitter.
