Three Lenawee County volleyball teams entered the MHSAA regional playoffs with Tecumseh in Division 2, Clinton in Division 3 and Lenawee Christian in Division 4.
Here’s how the regional tournaments are shaking out:
Division 2 at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard
No. 7 Tecumseh took on Carleton Airport in the semifinal and beat the Jets in four sets, 25-17, 25-22, 23-25 25-19.
Emma Eldred had another strong match with 20 kills and 10 digs while Alli Zajac had 10 kills and seven blocks and Maddy VanBlack had eight kills and nine digs. Lily Gnodtke had 36 assists.
Tecumseh will take on Parma Western at 6 p.m. Thursday after the Panthers beat Wixom St. Catherine in five sets in the other regional semifinal.
Tecumseh and Western played early in the season on Sept. 9 where Tecumseh won at home in a best two-of-three match, 25-23, 21-25, 15-7.
Division 3 at Jackson Lumen Christi
Clinton is in the regional final for the first time since 2009 after knocking off the host Titans in a three-set sweep, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.
