ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Seniors Samantha Thomas and Alex Bauer each tallied first-place finishes to lead the Toledo women’s track and field team at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday. Thomas took first in the 400m while Bauer won the 800m in the first meet of 2025.
Thomas recorded a final time of 55.29 in the 400m which now ranks as the third-fastest indoor time in school history. Thomas concluded her day by earning a second-place finish in the 200m (24.67). Both of Thomas’s results marked personal bests for the senior.
