Canton greenlights next step for proposed mosque, community center on Ridge Road

CANTON TWP. — A proposal to build a mosque and community center on North Ridge Road cleared a recent hurdle following a public hearing and emotional pleas from residents.

The Canton Township Planning Commission on June 2 unanimously recommended approval of a special land use permit for the proposed mosque and community center on North Ridge Road.
