Livonia man faces charges after police say he crashed into an Amish buggy while drunk on the 4th of July, injuring 2 people

(WWJ) A Livonia man is facing charges after crashing into an Amish Buggy in Mid Michigan on the Fourth of July.

According to the Gladwin County Sheriff’s office, 22-year-old was driving drunk in a Toyota SUV when he crashed into the buggy, shortly after 11 p.m., along Wirtz Rd. near Nickless Rd.

Two people on the buggy were hurt, officials said: a 22-year-old Amish woman and a 16-year-old Amish boy…
