LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Ashleigh Fox of mid-Michigan is living proof that miracles can happen. Just two years ago, at age 33, Fox received a devastating diagnosis: stage four stomach cancer that had already spread to her lymph nodes. Doctors told her she had less than six months to live and that her cancer was incurable.
Blindsided but determined, Fox leaned on her family and the medical team at UM-Health Sparrow-Clinton. Together, they developed an aggressive treatment plan that included intense chemotherapy. After eight grueling months, something remarkable happened.
