GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Michigan man has been charged with harassing and interfering with U.S. Border Patrol agents while taking prisoners to a correctional facility in northern Michigan.
The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan says a criminal complaint has been filed against 30-year-old Jacob Len, of Ypsilanti.

According to the attorney’s office, Len is accused of impeding, intimidating and interfering with the agents while they were conducting their official duties. The incident happened July 7 along I-96 in Livingston County.
“While the agents were traveling on Interstate 96, Len drove his BMW sedan toward one of the marked Border Patrol vehicles and flipped off the agents with his middle finger,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a news release. “Immediately after clearing the front bumper of the lead Border Patrol transport van, Len abruptly cut in front of the transport van to quickly brake to avoid a collision. The driver of the trailing Border Patrol vehicle was forced to quickly brake to avoid smashing into the transport van. Len repeated his sudden braking maneuver twice before exiting the freeway.”…
