LANSING, MI — A fraudulent website, using the name of a fake university is attempting to invoke Eastern Michigan’s reputation and credibility to lure prospective students, Attorney General Dana Nessel warns.
As a result, Nessel issued a consumer alert on Friday, Aug. 8, warning prospective students and their families about fraudulent college and university websites.
