DETROIT (WWJ) — Two Wayne County men are facing a number of charges for allegedly running a chop shop out of a business in the city of Wayne.
Attorney General Dana Nessel’s Office announced that the owner of Hadi’s Cash For Cars, 41-year-old Mohamed El-Hadi of Canton, is charged with operating a chop shop, a 10-year felony. He and an employee, 44-year-old Dani Mourad of Dearborn Heights, are also charged with receiving and concealing stolen cars.
The AG’s office said at least three stolen cars were found crushed in the company’s tow-yard: a 2009 Kia Sorrento, a 2013 Honda Odyssey, and a 2017 Buick Encore…
