City of Ann Arbor Introduces New Transportation Manager

ANN ARBOR — The City of Ann Arbor announces the appointment of Malisa McCreedy as its next transportation manager, effective Aug. 25. McCreedy brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in public-sector transportation, mobility systems and community-focused planning.

McCreedy most recently served as director of transportation and mobility for the City of Gainesville, Florida, where she led a consolidated department overseeing multimodal planning, transit, parking and smart mobility initiatives. Her experience also includes significant roles in Portland, Charlotte, and Orlando, and she served six years as board chair for Get Active Orlando.

“Malisa will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and energy to the city’s transportation program,” said Ann Arbor City Administrator Milton Dohoney Jr. “She has a proven record of innovation, strategic thinking and public engagement that will be critical as we continue building an accessible, equitable and sustainable transportation network for our community.”…
