Just a year ago, Dave Portnoy pledged an annual $3 million to the Michigan Wolverines in order to continuously recruit the No. 1 quarterback in the country. That quickly led (directly or indirectly) to Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 QB in the class of 2025, committing to UMich.
Now, Portnoy is trying to do something similar with Chris Henry Jr., the No. 2 wide receiver in the class of 2026 and a current Ohio State commit.
