Following the success of a Yemeni cafe in Ann Arbor, the owner is opening a second location closer to Detroit.
It was revealed by the Discover Hamtramck Instagram page that a Bun Chai location is coming to the city. According to owner Ghazi Alsafari, it will be at 11815 Joseph Campau Avenue. Alsafari told What Now Detroit right now he is hoping to open by the end of the year.
The first Bun Chai location opened in Ann Arbor at 306 S State Street last month. It provides a space downtown for visitors to study and socialize, with Yemeni teas, espressos, cappuccinos and other hot drinks. The spot also has a food menu, including pastries like croissants, cakes and tarts…
