Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies charged a Michigan man with 3rd-degree assault after he allegedly sprayed someone during a verbal altercation in the Town of Ripley Friday evening. Deputies responded to assist Ripley Fire and EMS at an unnamed business on Shortman Road shortly after 9:30 PM and determined that 64-year-old George Bonniville of Brighton, Michigan allegedly discharged personal defense spray toward the other subject during a verbal altercation.
