The Michigan State Spartan Football team will be back under the lights for the Michigan game, with a 7:30 p.m. kick-off, which NBC snagged. Michigan grabbed a win over Washington and will be walking into Spartan Stadium with its head held high.
The MSU Spartans may have to put up a bit of a fight to win against the Wolverines, as history shows that the win tends to go to the boys in maize. Michigan leads the series and has taken the last three, with MSU’s last win back in 2021 at Spartan Stadium.
What Went Wrong at Indiana
The Spartan team was defeated last night in Bloomington against No. 3 Indiana, which won the game 38-13. Fernando Mendoza helped go for a secondary at 332 yards, with four touchdown passes on 24-of-28 throwing.
The Spartans opened the game with a composed 13-play drive for a field goal, and even nudged ahead 10-7, after Aidan Chiles’ touchdown, but with many penalties, and a missed kick, that allowed IU to step forward and take the win.
